About
Welcome to the IKEA Montreal - Restaurant, located at 9191 Cavendish Blvd in the heart of Montreal, Quebec. This spacious dining venue seamlessly combines the charm of Scandinavian cuisine with a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. With a focus on accessibility and comfort, it proves to be an ideal stop for both shoppers and food enthusiasts alike.
As you step inside, you're immersed in a clean, airy environment filled with a variety of seating options. From cozy corners to larger communal tables, the layout promotes a relaxed dining experience. Renowned for its signature offerings, the restaurant particularly excels in its infamous meatballs, a staple that has garnered rave reviews from patrons. The flavors are comforting, reminiscent of home-cooked meals, making it a must-try for anyone visiting.
Customer experiences highlight the thrilling beverage selection, including a delightful range of sparkling fruit drinks that provide a refreshing alternative to traditional sodas. One reviewer, Krissi Faith, was impressed not only by the drink options but also by the unique experience of ordering a latte through a charming gold coin system, ensuring you get that perfect fill to the brim.
The affordability of the menu is another key highlight. Many customers have praised the wallet-friendly prices, especially considering the quality of the food. While the cafeteria-style setup is straightforward, the ambiance is anything but; vibrant decor and ample natural light create a warm setting that complements your meal.
However, be prepared for a bustling atmosphere, particularly on Fridays when lines can grow quite long. As noted by returning visitors like Donata De Luca, it’s wise to arrive not overly hungry, allowing you to enjoy the scenic experience of exploring both the restaurant and the broader IKEA shopping environment.
In conclusion, the IKEA Montreal - Restaurant offers a delightful blend of comfort, flavor, and affordability, making it a noteworthy destination for dining in the city. Whether you’re popping in for a quick bite or planning a leisurely meal, you can expect a satisfying experience that satisfies your culinary cravings amidst the backdrop of the iconic IKEA shopping experience.
“ ** PLEASE LIKE & SHARE OUR REVIEWS. ** Wheelchair accessible. We popped in the cafe for beverages. We did not eat but were blown away by the selection, seating and cleanliness. When purchasing a latte, the cashier will give you a gold coin to insert in the machine. The latte size fills the cup to the absolute top of the cup. Peerrrrrrfectly. Would love to revisit and try the food. The sparkling fruit drinks were really nice. We prefer them to sodas. ”
“ This IKEA is spacious and clean, which makes shopping there really comfortable. The food at the restaurant is not expensive and surprisingly delicious. Overall, it's a nice place to shop and grab a bite. For eating the line is long on fridays . ”
“ I never realized how big the cafeteria style restaurant in Ikea was! Had to try the meatballs! The menu is what you'd expect, nothing out of this world but not bad, and the prices are reasonable. But like everything at Ikea, anything you buy or add-on is a separate cost, so that might increase the price of your meal. Don't show up starving, because there is a wait in the lineups for ordering and paying. The seating area is fairly large and there's lots of different little sections with different types of tables and chairs. It's very bright and has a cute decor! ”
“ Had not been to the food court since before the pandemic.....Inflation has hit hard here too, about double what I remember paying in 2019. That being said, very clean area, super friendly helpful staff, and let’s be honest what do you get for 10 anymore, right ? This from L2, stay on ground floor for the hot dogs ”
“ Great meatballs but the service was not great, when I asked them "hur kommer det sig att ni inte pratar Svenska har?" they had no comeback and looked at me strangely. I guess it's too much to ask as a Swede to walk into any IKEA and speak swedish, but then again who cared when they have hot meatballs! ”
“ A family place where to spend time. There's weird people thinking that they are in a 5 stars restaurant. They asked children to be quiet . ”
“ Love eating at IKEA. Everything tastes great and the service was quick and friendly. Prices are also very reasonable for the portion you get. Lots of seating and highchair are available for the little ones. I recommend the fish and chips. ”
“ We got meet ball and fish and chips, I also took one small wine (that I love the brand). Desserts are also amazing and finally we took coffee and frozen yogurt that I strongly recommend! ”
